Is PosterMemorabilia fake?
Hey dolls! So I recently bought the movie poster for “Pretty Woman” and it is insane! Like, I can’t believe it! It’s the iconic poster where Richard Gere is leaning on Julia Roberts who, btw, looks so cute in her outfit! It’s so 90s!! Anyways, you know what’s even more insane!? The poster has their autographs on it!
I got the poster from this site called Poster Memorabilia. They sell posters of all types of movies, from like the mega-popular MCU and Harry Potter films to even oldies like “The Godfather” and “Rocky” and stuff like that. I, of course, love the chick flicks and the ultimate is forever, “Pretty Woman.” So you can imagine my shrieks when I saw it for the first time. And the fact that this one was signed by Julia Roberts and Richard Gere themselves? So crazy, right? Like, God! How is this even effin’ possible?
Even though it costs a shit ton of money, I bought it anyway. Yeah, I know at this time I really shouldn’t shop for anything frivolous or whatever but it’s my money! Don’t come for my wig! Anyhoo, I never regretted purchasing it because it’s so high-quality! The image is so clear that Julia Roberts’ smile can almost blind you. And Richard Gere? Daddy! I was kinda nervous that it might be a reprint but it also has a slightly faded quality to it that I know it’s from the 90s!
Now, I know what you’re going to ask: are the autographs real? Well, I think they are! I researched what the actors’ autographs look like online and they match pretty well with what I see on the poster. Also, the company, Poster Memorabilia, attached a certificate of authenticity to prove that the autographs are, in fact, legit. I mean, I’m sure they wouldn’t do that if they weren’t right? I’d imagine if these were fake, the moment I got my poster, they’d just shut up. But nope! They went so far as to give proof of their legitimacy. Yass queens!
More than just the quality of the poster, their service was also good. I only had to wait for a little over a week till my poster arrived. But even before that, they always updated me via email on when I should expect it. Thanks to that, I was able to ensure I was home when the time came. Oh, and they sent it via UPS and a cute delivery guy handed it to me so that’s an added bonus!
So, what’s the 411 on this poster? Amazing! I think I like Poster Memorabilia! They’re efficient, considerate, and sell high-quality posters! You can’t go wrong with any of that!
